Pemberian Bokashi Sampah Organik Rumah Tangga Dan Npk Pada Tanaman Cabai Rawit (Capsicum Frutescens L.)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to increase production by providing bokashi and NPK to cayenne pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L.). This research was conducted in the Technical Management Unit of Experimental Gardens, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from September 2021 to March 2022. This study was 4x3 factorial experiment arranged according to completely randomized design. The first factor dose of household organic waste bokashi consists of four levels (5 ton.ha-1, 10 ton.ha-1, 15 ton.ha-1 dan 20 ton.ha-1) and the factor dose of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 consists of three levels (125 kg.ha-1, 187,5 kg.ha-1 dan 250 kg.ha-1). Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of branches, root length, root volume, age of first flowering, age of first harvest, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant and weight per fruit. The results showed that the interaction of household organic waste bokashi treatment and NPK affected root volume, number of fruits per plant and fruit weight per plant of cayenne pepper. The combination of 15 tons.ha-1 household organic waste bokashi and 187,5 kg.ha-1 NPK showed the number of fruits per plant was 124, fruit weight per plant was 168,47 g and fruit weight was 1,27 g which was not significantly different from the best results at higher doses, so it is recommended as the best dose of cayenne pepper plants among other combination doses.
