Pengaruh Kombinasi Berbagai Dosis Pupuk Npk Dengan Pupuk Organik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to obtain the best combination dose of NPK fertilizer with organic fertilizer and biofertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) in reducing the use of NPK fertilizer. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with six treatments repeated four times resulting in 24 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 20 plants consisting of five sample plants. The total plant population was 480. The treatment was as follows: 100% NPK + petroganic fertilizer; 100% NPK + solid compost; 75% NPK + solid compost; 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biofertilizer; 50% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biofertilizer; 25% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biofertilizer. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, time of appearance of male flowers, time of appearance of female flowers, harvest age, cob weight with husks, cob weight without cob, cob length without cob, cob diameter without cob and number of rows of seeds per cob. The results obtained were analyzed using the analysis of variance and further testing with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of a combination of 75% NPK fertilizer (225 kg.ha-1) with 30 t.ha-1 solid compost and 10 ml.l-1 biofertilizer produced plant height, cob weight, cob weight without cob and cob length 100% NPK + petroganic fertilizer. without corn husks on sweet corn plants tends to be the best and can reduce the use of NPK fertilizer by 25% (75 kg.ha-1).
