Sifat Kimia Tanah Dystrudepts Di Bawah Tegakan Kelapa Sawit Yang Diaplikasikan Pupuk Majemuk Kcamgs Serta Kombinasinya Dengan Kompos Tkks
ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to study the chemical properties of Dystrudepts which was applied by KCaMgS compound fertilizer and its combination with OPEFB compost. The research was conducted in an oil palm plantation of the Topaz variety at Dystrudepts in Petapahan Village and soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This experiment used a non-factorial randomized block design consisting of 7 treatments, namely 1) NPK 3.3, kg per plant; 2) KCaMgS compound fertilizer 2.1 kg per plant; 3) KCaMgS compound fertilizer 3.5 kg per plant; 4) Compound fertilizer 4.9 kg per plant; 5) KCaMgS compound fertilizer 2.1 kg per plant + OPEFB compost 75 kg per plant; 6) KCaMgS compound fertilizer 3.5 kg per plant + OPEFB compost 75 kg per plant; 7) KCaMgS compound fertilizer 4.9 kg per plant + OPEFB compost 75 kg per plant with 3 replications. Therefore, there were 21 experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed using the analysis of variance (ANOVA), and to determine differences of the treatments mean were analyzed using Duncan new multiple range test (DNMRT) at the 5% significance level. The results showed application of KCaMgS compound fertilizer and its combination with OPEFB compost can improve chemical properties (increase in C-organic, exchangeable bases (K, Ca, Mg, Na), and CEC at a depth of 0-30 cm and an increase in pH, P- total, S-total, exchangeable bases (K, Mg) and CEC at a depth of 30-60 cm).
