Efek Tapak Timbun Dan Pemberian Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Terhadap Pertumbuhan Akar Adventif Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
ABSTRACT Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is one of the most important plantation commodities in Indonesia's agricultural sector. Palm oil production Riau in 2019 reached 8,864,883 tons, while CPO production in 2020 reached 9.7 million tons. Riau Province in crops producing independent pattern plantations is still low compared to private plantations. One of the technical culture efforts carried out is the making of heap sites and the provision of OPEFB, the heap tread serves to activate adventif roots that often occur in the roots of oil palm plants and OPEFB serves to stimulate the growth of adventif roots. This study aims to see the effect of stockpiling footprints and the provision of OPEFB on the growth and development of adventif roots in producing oil palm plants. The study was conducted experimentally with a randomized design of the group. The first factor of heap tread height consists of 3 levels. The second factor of giving OPEFB consists of 4 levels. The parameters observed are fresh weight of roots, dry weight of roots, number of primary roots, Length of primary roots, number of secondary roots, length of secondary roots, number of tertiary roots, number of fresh fruit bunches, weight of fresh fruit bunches. The results showed that a stockpile tread height of 30 cm per plant tended to increase the growth of adventitious roots of oil palm plants. A dose of 48 kg of OPEFB per plant can increase the growth of adventitious roots of oil palm plants. The interaction of a stockpile tread height of 30 cm per plant and an OPEFB dose of 48 kg per plant gave the best results and tended to promote adventitious root growth of oil palm plants.
