ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the interaction of EFBO compost with P fertilizer, and to obtain the best combination of EFBO compost and P fertilizer among the treatments to support the growth and production of green beans (Vigna radiata L.). This study used a completely randomized design. The first factor is the dose of EFBO compost consisting of 3 levels (0, 10 and 20 t.ha-1). The second factor of P fertilizer dose consisted of 3 levels (0, 50 and 100 kg.ha-1) thus there were 9 treatment combinations, each treatment combination was repeated 3 times, 27 experimental units were obtained. Each experimental unit was made in the form of a plot measuring 1.5 m x 1 m, each experimental unit consisted of 25 plants and 5 of them were taken randomly to be used as sample plants. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, number of pods per plant, percentage of fruitful pods, dry weight of seeds per plant, dry weight of seeds per m2 and weight of 100 seeds. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with analysis of variance and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of 20 t.ha-1 EFBO compost and 100 kg.ha-1 P fertilizer produced plant height, flowering age, number of pods per plant, percentage of fruitful pods, seed dry weight per plant, seed dry weight m2 and seed weight 100 seeds of green bean plants.
