ABSTRACT
This study aims to obtain the best combined dose of NPK fertilizer and organic fertilizer on the growth and production of red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) in reducing the use of NPK fertilizer. The research was conducted in Langsat Permai Village, Bunga Raya District, Siak Regency for six months from March to August 2022. This research was conducted experimentally using a non-factorial complete randomized design (CRD) with six treatments and repeated four times. The treatment design was as follows: P0: 100% NPK fertilizer + petroganic, P1: 100% NPK fertilizer + solid compost, P2: 75% NPK fertilizer + compost solid, P3 : 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer, P4 : 50% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer, P5 : 25% inorganic fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer. Parameters observed were plant height, dichotom height, flowering age, harvested age, fruit number per plant, fruit length, fruit weight, fruit weight per plant, production per plot, and root volume. The results showed that the combination of 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizers gave results that were not significantly different from the combination of 100% NPK + petroganic fertilizers on several parameters except the age of flowering and could make the use of NPK fertilizer efficient by 25%.
