Pewarisan Peubah Perkembangan Biji Dan Komponen Hasil Berbagai Genotipe Tanaman Kedelai (Glycine Max (L.) Merril)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to look at the variability of seed development variables and yield components of several soybean varieties planted at several planting densities. This research was carried out experimentally using a randomized block design consisting of two factors and three replications, so that 15 combinations and 45 experimental units were obtained. The observed characters included flowering age, plant height, harvesting age, seed dry weight, speed of dry matter accumulation, effective seed filling time, full pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant, weight of 100 seeds, seed yield per m2. Data were analyzed with variance and continued with Duncan’s test at 5 % level. The results showed that the genotypes has a significantly different on almost all traits, while various rates of planting density only significantly affected dry weight of harvested seeds, dry matter accumulation rate, effective filling period, number of seeds per plant, and seed yield per m2. Almost all characters have wide genetic variance and high heritability. Selection responses varied, but high scores were obtained for the number of seeds per plant and seed yield per m2 character. Seed yield per m2 in the regression equation is strongly influenced by four independent variables including dry weight of 15 HSP seeds, effective filling period, number of seeds per plant, and seed weight per plant.
