Pengaruh Pupuk Npk Dan Guano Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Terung (Solanum Melongena L.)
ABSTRACT Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is a horticultural product that has been widely spread in Indonesia. Eggplant plant in English is called eggplant is a tropical plant originating from the continent of Asia, especially Indonesia. This study aims to determine the interaction effect of NPK fertilizer and guano fertilizer on eggplant growth and production and to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer and guano fertilizer as a single factor on eggplant plant growth and to obtain the best dosage. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is NPK fertilizer (16:16:16) (N) consisting of 4 levels namely: (N0= 0, N1= 100 kg.ha-1, N2= 200 kg.ha-1, N3= 300 kg.ha-1). The second factor is guano fertilizer (G) consisting of 4 levels as follows: (G0= 0, G1= 10 ton.ha-1, G2= 15 ton.ha-1, G3= 20 ton.ha-1). From the two factors, 16 treatment combinations were obtained. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that the number of experimental units was 48 units. Each unit consisted of 4 plants, 2 of which were used as samples, the total number of plants was 192 plants. Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, average weight per fruit, fruit weight planted and fruit diameter. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with analysis of variance and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer 300 kg.ha-1 and guano 20 ton.ha-1 gave the highest yields on the parameters of number of fruit planted, average weight per fruit, fruit weight planted and fruit diameter.
