ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction between the application of P fertilizer and AMF, a single factor, and to obtain the best combination of P and CMA for the growth and yield of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) in Ultisol medium. This research was conducted at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Bina Widya Campus, Simpang Baru Village km 12.5, Kec. Binawidya, Pekanbaru, Riau. The research was carried of experimentally in the form of a 5x2 factorial using a completely randomized design (CRD). Factor 1 was the application of P fertilizer which consisted of 5 levels, namely 0 ;10.8 ;21.6 ; 32.4 ; and 43.2 kg.ha-1 P2O5. Factor 2 was the administration of AMF which consisted of 2 levels, namely AMF of 10 and 20 g per plant. The results of the analysis were then tested using Duncan's multiple range test at a level of 5% using the SAS. Parameters observed were plant height, number of branches, age of flowering plants, number of flowers, number of pods, percentage of fruitful pods, number of seeds, weight of dry seeds, weight of 100 seeds, and percentage of mycorrhizal infected roots. The results showed that there was no interaction between the application of P fertilizer and AMF. The single factor P at doses of 34.2 and 43.2 kg.ha-1 P2O5 and the single factor CMA 20 g per plant showed better growth and yields than other treatments. The combination of P fertilizer 43.2 kg.ha-1 P2O5 with 20 g CMA per plant produces growth and yields that tend to be better.
