Evaluasi Kinerja Probiotik Petrofish Dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Pada Sistem Resirkulasi
White shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is a one of the leading commodities in the aquaculture sector in Indonesia. In its cultivation practices, there are various challenges, one of which is the suboptimal growth of shrimp due to inappropriate feed management. One approach that is starting to be widely applied to increase feed efficiency is the use of probiotics. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different doses of Petrofish probiotics on the growth and survival rate of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of Petrofish probiotic doses of 0 ml/kg feed (P1), 10 ml/kg feed (P2), 15 ml/kg feed (P3), and 20 ml/kg feed (P4). The observed parameters included absolute weight gain, absolute length gain, specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), feed efficiency, and survival rate. The results showed that the addition of Petrofish probiotics significantly influenced the growth and survival of white shrimp (P < 0.05). The best performance was found in treatment P4 (20 ml/kg feed), with an average absolute weight gain of 1.90 g and the highest survival rate. The application of Petrofish probiotics also improved feed efficiency and maintained water quality throughout the culture period. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of 20 ml/kg feed of Petrofish probiotics is effective for enhancing the growth and survival of white shrimp in a recirculating aquaculture system.
