Pengaruh Pupuk Guano Dan Pupuk Kcl Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.)

ABSTRACT
The low productivity of shallots is due to the limited availability of fertile land in
Riau Province. One way to overcome this problem is by using organic materials
such as guano fertilizer. This study aims to determine the interaction between
Guano Fertilizer and KCl, the single factor of guano fertilizer and KCl fertilizer,
and determine the best combination for shallot growth and production. This
research was conducted from February 2023 to April 2023 at the Experimental
Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Binawidya Campus
km 12.5 Simpang Baru Village, Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City. This
research was conducted experimentally using a factorial complete randomized
design (CRD) method with 9 treatment combinations and 3 replications so that
27 experimental units were obtained. G1: 800 g guano fertilizer per plot,
G2: Guano fertilizer 900 g per plot, G3: Guano fertilizer 1000 g per plot, K1: KCl
100 kg.ha-1 (10 g per plot), K2: Application of KCl 150 kg.ha-1 (15 g per plot),
K3: KCl 200 kg.ha-1 (20 g per plot). The results showed that the combination of
guano fertilizer treatment of 10 ton.ha-1 and potassium 200 kg.ha-1 gave better
results. The interaction of guano fertilizer and potassium fertilizer significantly
affected the parameters of number of leaves, total fresh biomass weight and tuber
diameter.
