Sistem Informasi Peta Curah Hujan Berbasis Web Pada BMKG Provinsi Riau

Rainfall is one of the important parameters in climate analysis, natural resource management, and disaster mitigation. In Riau Province, rainfall data owned by BMKG so far is still presented in the form of tables and static reports, so it is less effective to be analyzed spatially by general users. This research aims to build a Web-Based Rainfall Map Information System at the Riau Province BMKG that presents rainfall, temperature, and lightning strikes data visually and interactively. This system was developed using PHP, MySQL, Leaflet.js, and regional data in GeoJSON format. The main features include data management by admin (add, edit, delete) and interactive map display based on date by user who can choose data by date. The results of the system development show that this system can present weather information visually and dynamically, simplifying the monitoring process and decision-making by various parties. This system is expected to be an effective solution in the dissemination of meteorological information in Riau Province quickly, accurately, and easily to use
