This research develops a web-based letter archiving information system with a case study at the BPJS Kesehatan Payakumbuh Branch. The main objective of this study is to reduce the accumulation of physical documents by digitizing letter archives, and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of archive processing. The methodology used is the Waterfall model, starting from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is designed and developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework, and utilizes a MySQL database for archive information storage and management. The modeling in this research uses UML (Unified Modeling Language), including Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, and Class Diagram. Testing results show that the system meets all the designed functionalities: receiving, categorizing, searching, and digitally archiving incoming and outgoing letters. The implementation of this system has made it easier for users to search and maintain archives, reduced document handling time by up to 60%, and significantly decreased the volume of physical storage. Therefore, this web-based letter archiving information system is effective in supporting more efficient and structured archive management at the BPJS Kesehatan Payakumbuh Branch.
