The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted the workflow of various institutions, including archival management. The Information and Communication Division (Infokom) of BBPOM Pekanbaru still employs a manual method for managing archives and relies on physical storage in filing cabinets. This approach presents several challenges, such as difficulty in retrieving documents, the risk of archive damage, and inefficiencies in work time. To address these issues, a web-based archival information system was developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The system is designed with features for uploading, storing, searching, editing, and downloading archives digitally. It also includes a simple interface to ensure ease of use for administrators. This system aims to improve archive management by making it more organized, efficient, and quickly accessible. The system development methodology follows the Waterfall model, which consists of analysis, design, and implementation phases. The final outcome of this system is expected to enhance the archival performance of the Infokom Division at BBPOM Pekanbaru.
