Implementasi Design Thinking Dalam Perancangan Ui/Ux Pada Sistem Estimasi Kehilangan Minyak Kelapa Sawit
The palm oil industry is a strategic sector in Indonesia's economy with a major contribution to state revenue. However, the industry still faces challenges, one of which is oil losses during the threshing process because the loose fruits are not separated from the bunches. These losses have the potential to cause economic losses. To overcome these problems, research was conducted to estimate oil losses by detecting bunches and empty and unstripped bunches using computer vision and deep learning technology. The technology implementation process requires a web-based system to monitor the detection process. Therefore, in order for the system to be effectively adopted by the users, the interface design was conducted using the Design Thinking approach that focuses on user needs and experience through five stages namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The designed system provides features such as dashboard monitoring, video integration with cameras, graphical reports of estimated oil loss, USB and EFB results, detection operation duration, and alarm notifications for out-of-bounds conditions. Usability testing showed an effectiveness rate of 90%, with an efficiency of 0.063 goals/sec, and an average task completion time of 15.8 seconds. The System Usability Scale (SUS) score reached 83.5 with an excellent category, based on Net Promoter Score (NPS), the system falls into the promoter category, which indicates the system is worth recommending. The User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) evaluation shows all aspects of UI/UX in the excellent category, with the highest score on Efficiency (2.30), followed by Clarity (2.10), Attractiveness (1.93), Accuracy (1.90), Novelty (1.90), and Stimulation (1.85).
