Pengaruh Persepsi Kemudahan, Persepsi Kegunaan Terhadap Sikap Dan Niat Perilaku Menggunakan Aplikasi Digital Dalam Penyuluhan Padi Sawah Di Kecamatan Kampar
ABSTRACT
The development of information and communication technology has opened new
opportunities in the implementation of agricultural extension, particularly through
the use of digital applications. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived
ease of use and perceived usefulness on attitudes and behavioral intentions to use
digital applications in rice field extension in Kampar District. Although most
farmers and extension agents already have access to smartphones and are familiar
with popular applications such as WhatsApp, YouTube, and Facebook, the adoption
of technology for extension purposes remains limited. This research employs a
quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square
(SEM-PLS) method. The results indicate that perceived ease of use has a positive
influence on attitudes and behavioral intentions, both directly and indirectly.
Conversely, perceived usefulness does not have a significant impact and tends to
negatively affect attitudes and behavioral intentions toward the use of digital
applications. These findings highlight that ease of use is the primary factor driving
technology adoption in agricultural extension, while the perception of usefulness
still needs to be strengthened. Therefore, training and assistance that emphasize the
ease of using digital applications should be prioritized to enhance the participation
of farmers and extension agents in the digital transformation of the agricultural
sector.
