Efektivitas Pemberian Rhizobium Pada Berbagai Komposisi Pupuk Nitrogen Dengan Pupuk Hayati Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.)
ABSTRACT
Mung beans (Vigna radiata L.) are an important legume commodity in Indonesia. The increasing production of mung beans must be maintained to meet domestic needs. Efforts that can be made include paying attention to cultivation aspects, one of which is Urea fertilization. Excessive use of inorganic fertilizers can reduce soil fertility and leave residues. Efforts made to reduce inorganic fertilizers include the use of Rhizobium biological fertilizers and consortia. This study aims to study the effectiveness of providing Rhizobium in various nitrogen fertilizer compositions with biological fertilizers in reducing the use of nitrogen fertilizers on the growth and production of mung beans. The study was conducted experimentally using a split plot design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The main plot is Rhizobium (R) consisting of: R1: Local Rhizobium sp. 5 ml per planting hole and R2: Rhizobium rhizoka 10 g per kg of seed. Sub-plots are the provision of various compositions of nitrogen fertilizer with biological fertilizer (K) consisting of: K1: 100% Urea fertilizer (6,75 g per 1,2 m2) without biological fertilizer, K2: 75% Urea fertilizer (5,06 g per 1,2 m2) with 3 times of biological fertilizer application, K3: 50% Urea fertilizer (3,38 g per 1,2 m2) with 4 times of biological fertilizer application and K4: 25% Urea fertilizer (1,69 g per 1,2 m2) with 4 times of biological fertilizer application. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that the provision of local Rhizobium sp. is able to reduce 50% of Urea fertilizer (3,36 g per 1,2 m2) with 4 times of biological fertilizer application for the growth and production of mung beans plants.
