Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Berbasis Budaya Kampar Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Dan Disposisi Matematis Siswa Sma Kabupaten Bangkinang Kota
Mathematical representation ability is the ability to present notation, symbols, tables, images, graphs, diagrams, equations or other mathematical expressions in another form. Mathematical representation consists of visual representations, images, written text, equations or mathematical expressions. Mathematical representation ability is one of the most important skills for children to have and one of the goals of learning mathematics in schools, namely the ability to represent ideas mathematically, because Mathematical representation ability is a way for someone to express the mathematical answers or ideas concerned.
This study is a quasi-experimental study. The research unit is based on learning groups and categories of student ability levels based on categories of students with high, medium, and low abilities. The research design that will be used is Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. This study involves independent variables and dependent variables. The independent variable of this study is the PBL learning model, while the dependent variables are mathematical representation ability and mathematical disposition. This study involved six sample classes, namely three experimental classes and three control classes. The experimental group is a group that will be given learning using the Problem Based Learning model with Kampar culture content, while the control group is given conventional learning. There are three data collection techniques used in this study, namely tests, interviews, and documentation.
