research aims to understand the standing stock of Osteochilus pleurotaenia in the
Kampar River Kuok Sub-District, Kampar District, Riau Province Reservoir
bigining From Rantau Merangin until Pulau Terap was conducted in Juni to Juli
2019. The fish was sampled everyday for 10 days in Juni dan 10 days in Juli, in 4

gill nets. Standing Stock Osteochilus pleurotaenia was analyzed using a Leslie
Method. Results shown that the initial population (No) of the fish was 414 kg and
the final population (Nt) was 399 kg. The water quality parameter shown that
temperature 27-27,42 °C, current speed 0,14-0,32 cm/s and depth 1,08-3,64 m.
Data on water quality parameters indicate that water quality in the Indragiri River
is able to support the life of Osteochilus pleurotaenia.
