Pengaruh Orientasi Kewirausahaan Dan Kemampuan Manajemen Terhadap Kinerja Usaha Mikro Dan Kecil Pada Sektor Usaha Kuliner Di Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the Effect of Entrepreneurship Orientation and
Management Capabilities on Business Performance in the micro and small business
culinary sector in the city of Pekanbaru. As for the population in this study were all
micro and small businesses in the culinary business sector in the city of Pekanbaru,
which totaled 2,499 business units, because the population was very large, the
researchers drew samples using the non-probality sampling method of purposive
Michael and Issac as many as 99 business units which is used as the object of
research, data collection using census methods and data analysis using multiple
linear regression methods processed with the help of SPSS version 22.
Simultaneous regression test (F-test) and partial (T-test) showed that
entrepreneurial orientation and management capabilities simultaneously and
partially affected the business performance of micro and small businesses in the
culinary business sector in Pekanbaru. The amount of contribution of the independent
variable (entrepreneurial orientation and management ability) to the dependent
variable (business performance) was 74.2%.
Entrepreneurs must further improve business performance through increased
entrepreneurial orientation and good management skills. It is also expected that
entrepreneurs can improve their vision, mission and main objectives in
entrepreneurship as well as increase business creativity and innovation in order to
create different characteristics of similar businesses.
