Daya Dukung Waduk Pangean Desa Pasar Baru Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau Berdasarkan Oksigen Terlarut
Carrying capacity is the ability of the aquatic environment to support the life of
cultivated organisms. This study aims to determine the carrying capacity of plants
based on dissolved oxygen concentration. This survey was conducted in July-
August 2019 at the Pangean Reservoir. Water sampling is carried out three times
during the dry season with sampling intervals once a week at four designated
stations. Determination of the sampling location is determined based on a
reservoir zone consisting of three zone, namely Station 1 (Riverine Zone), Station
2 and Station 3 (Transition Zone), Station 4 (Lacustrine Zone). Water quality
parameters measured were dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, trasparency, depth,
Total-P. The results showed that the dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration ranged
from 4.2 - 6.2 mg / L in each station, there were two sampling points, in the
surface and 2 secchi depth ranged from 3.07 - 5.67 mg / L. Water quality
parameters were supported. Depth 248- 388cm, trasparency 93-102cm,
temperature 29-31 oC, pH 5, Total-P 0.043-0.153 mg / L. The carrying capacity of
Pangean Reservoir based on dissolved oxygen is 3,418 kg / year and the number
of floating cages capable of serving 13 units of size (4 x 6 x 2) m3. The number of
marine cage currently available is 100 units. Based on the survey results, the
number of KJA lots in Pauh Pangean Reservoir has exceeded its carrying
capacity.
