Analisis Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance Dan Corporate Social Responsibility Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan Dengan Profitabilitas Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Perusahaan Pertambangan Yang Terdaftar Di Bei Periode 2014 - 2018
This study aimed to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to firm value with profitability as Intervening Variable. The study was conducted in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for period of 2014 – 2018.
The data used consist of secondary data. Data were collected by http://www.idx.co.id . The population in this study were mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018 with a sample of 41 companies determined by purposive sampling. Analyzer used is regresi Partial Analysis by using software smart PLS.
The results of this study conclude that Good Corporate Governance (GCG) has an effect on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and has no effect on profitability, meaning that stakeholders in implementing GCG only for implementing regulations do not pay attention to the benefits so that the expected profitability is not achieved. (CSR) affects profitability, meaning that by implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company's image will be better so that consumer loyalty will be higher and the level of company profitability will also increase.Good Corporate Governance (GCG) affects the value of the company, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) does not affect the value of the company, meaning that in assessing the company it only focuses on financial factors and cares less about the social environment and corporate governance so that it will be reflected in the increasingly decreased. Profitability has an effect on firm value. This means that with profits, the company is able to get capital from external parties, increase share prices and achieve firm value.Good Corporate Governance (GCG) affects firm value mediated by profitability, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) affects firm value mediated by profitability, meaning that profitability is able to mediate the relationship between CSR and GCG on high company value and good company prospects so that investors will respond positively to these signals and the company value will increase.
