Pengaruh Motivasi Dan Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Dan Kinerja Karyawan Pada Pt. Primalayan Citra Mandiri (Datascrip Service Center) Di Indonesia
This study was aimed to examine and analyze the influence of motivation and leadership on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study was conducted at PT. Primalayan Citra Mandiri in Indonesia. The sample were whole employee at PT. Primalayan Citra Mandiri totaling 133 people. Data was collected through questionnaires using Likert scale. Descriptive analysis method was used to describe the characteristic of respondents and the research hyphotheses by using relevant statistical tests. Path analysis from SPSS was used as an analyzer. The variables used are motivation and leadership as independent variable, performance as dependent variable and work satisfaction as intervening variable. The results showed that Motivation has a positive and insignificant effect on employee job satisfaction. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation mediated by job satisfaction has a strong effect on employee performance. Leadership mediated by job satisfaction has a strong effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
It can be concluded that both motivation and leadership mediated by job satisfaction simultaneosly have strong effect on employee performance. In other side motivation partially has insignificant positive effect on job satisfaction. From these results is expected that PT. Primalayan Citra Mandiri should be more concern about communication and relationship between a leader and the staff.
