Analisis Strategi Keunggulan Bersaing Umkm (Sektor Makanan Dan Minuman) Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bersaing Di Kota Rengat
This study aimed to develop a strategy in order to increase the competitive
advantage of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Food and
Beverage Sector in Rengat City. This study used qualitative research methods. The
data collection technique used in this research was interviews, observations,
questionnaires, and literature studies. The selection of the interviewees was carried
out through purposive sampling, namely as many as 15 people of culinary SMEs.
Based on the results of the analysis using the IFE and EFE Matrix, the SWOT
Matrix and the SWOT Cartesian Diagram. The results of the study indicated that
the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the Food and Beverage
Sector in Rengat City were in the position of Quadrant I (Aggressive) using the SO
(Strengtsh and Opportunies) strategy that utilized strengths (Strengths) and took
advantage of opportunities (Opportunies). The strategy implementation that must be
done is to expand market share, maintain product quality, maintain good working
relationships, take advantage of online marketing, market penetration, and product
development.
