Analisis Keterampilan Guru Dalam Memotivasi Siswa Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 37 Pekanbaru
This research aims to find out what skills teachers use most to motivate students in learning. This research was conducted at Public Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The subject in this study was a classroom teacher at Public Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru. The data collected using observation techniques, and research questionnaires. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be known that the teacher's skills in motivating students at Public Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru consists of nine indicators, namely giving a number with a percentage of 11.9%. Rewarding Indicator with a percentage of 10.0%. Competition Indicator (Competition) with a percentage of 11.4%. Indicator of Growing Ego-involvement with a percentage of 10.5%. The Deuteronomy indicator with a percentage of 12.0%. Indicator Knowing Learning Outcomes with a percentage of 11.5%. The Indicator Gives Praise with a percentage of 12.0%. Indicator Provides Penalty with a percentage of 9.7%. And the Give Desire to learn indicator with a percentage of 11.0%. So the average amount of the overall percentage is 87.5% and belongs to the category always. That is, most teachers always use nine ways to motivate the student during the teaching process in the school. So it can be concluded that the teacher's skills in motivating students are not the most dominant, because the difference between one indicator and the other indicator only ranges from 0.1%-2.3% only, but the indicator with the highest percentage is the indicator giving praise and giving a replay with the same percentage of 12.0%.
