Analisis Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Narasi Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 184 Pekanbaru
Writing narrative essays is one of the language skills that students must have, namely writing skills. The existence of Indonesian language learning can improve language skills in students, one of which is in the aspect of writing skills. This study aims to describe the ability of grade V students of 184 Pekanbaru Elementary School in writing narrative essays. The ability to write narrative essays can be seen from the indicators in the students' essays, while the indicators are: 1) The suitability of the title and the contents of the essay, 2) choice of words / diction, 3) use and writing of spelling, 4) sentence structure, 5) cohesiveness Between Sentences, 6) Integrity Between Paragraphs, 7) Overall Content, 8) Neatness. The type of research that the researcher will use is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique uses test techniques,
which is a student's narrative essay which is then analyzed according to predetermined indicators. The results of data analysis that has been done, it can be seen from the eight indicators that the average value is 64.09. This shows that the ability of grade V students of SDN 184 Pekanbaru is in the good category.
