Karakter Peduli Sosial Siswa Dari Perspektif Gender, Usia, Dan Latar Belakang Keluarga Di SDIT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru

This research is motivated by Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System in Article 3 which states that one of the functions of national education is to shape character. Social care as one of the character values that needs to be instilled in students plays an important role in achieving the goals of national education. This study aims to determine how well the level of social care character among SDIT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru students from a gender perspective. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were male and female students in the high class SDIT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale. Research data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the character of social care for female students is higher with an average percentage of 84.26% categorized as very good, while the character of social care for male students with an average percentage of 73.94% is categorized as good.
