Pengembangan Permainan Monopoli Sebagai Media Pembelajaran IPA Di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of monopoly game media on hydrosphere material learning science in grade 5 of elementary schools. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) research. The process of research and development carried out by referring to the Four-D model which has four main stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This research was conducted in the 2020/2021 academic year in Pekanbaru with 4 test points for fifth grade students of SD IT Raudhaturrahmah. Development research with the Four-D model is carried out only up to the Develop stage, because the purpose of this research is only to develop a product and validate it by a validator after which it is tested individually. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale instrument. The results of the assessment carried out by the media expert validator consisted of physical aspects, aspects of use, aspects of images, aspects of color, aspects of writing, and aspects of function obtained an average value of 97.78% categorized as very valid. The results of the assessment carried out by the material expert validator consisted of content / material aspects and learning aspects obtained an average value of 90% which was categorized as very valid. The results of the individual test assessment obtained an average of 97.78% categorized as very good. Based on the results of data analysis from media experts, material experts, and individual trials, it shows that monopoly game media is declared valid for use in science learning in grade V Elementary School.
