Pengembangan Komik Pedas (Pendidikan Anak Sekolah) Dalam Pencegahan Covid-19 Siswa Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to develop a PEDAS (Pendidikan Anak Sekolah) comic “Corona Bercerita” in the prevention of covid-19 for elementary school students. In addition, this study also aims to test the effectiveness of using the PEDAS comic “Corona Bercerita” in understanding the covid-19 virus. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 014 Sungai Keranji in February 2021. This type of research is R&D development research (Research and Development) using a 4D model consisting of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The validation results from experts and practitioners obtained an average of 92.5% on the material aspect with a very valid category. Second, the comic design aspect with an average score of 94.44% is a very valid category. Third, the simplicity aspect shows an average score of 85% with a very valid category. Fourth, the cohesiveness aspect shows an average score of 89.58% with a very valid category. Fifth, the emphasis aspect with an average score of 89.58% with a very valid category. Sixth, the aspect of balance with an average score of 87.5% with a very valid category. Based on the results of the assessment given by the validator, the average obtained from all aspects of the assessment is 89.77%. Therefore, the comics developed are in the very worthy category to be tested. Meanwhile, the average score of the PEDAS comic " “Corona Bercerita” for the students as a whole showed that the average N-Gain Score for the experimental class was 57.0823 or 57.1% with a fairly effective category. Based on this data, the PEDAS comic media " “Corona Bercerita” which was developed was quite effective in influencing the understanding of fourth grade elementary school students towards the covid-19 virus.
