Pengembangan Buku Saku Berbasis High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) Materi Panas Dan Perpindahannya Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to assist students in understanding learning materials quickly and
easily, especially in science subjects and pocket books are one of the suitable
teaching materials to use. A pocket book according to the Big Indonesian
Dictionary is a small book that can be stored in a pocket and easy to carry
everywhere. This practicality can help students to be able to gain knowledge
anywhere and anytime by using a pocket book. In addition, in the Industry 4.0 era,
which requires students to be able to think at a high level and be able to connect
various learning concepts learned to solve problems in everyday life. So the need
for innovation and habituation, one of which is by developing practical teaching
materials that students can learn anywhere and adapting to the demands of the
times, namely Pocket Books based on High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) Hot
Materials and Transfers for Class V Elementary School. With HOTS-based, it is
expected that students will be able to develop creative thinking skills, high-level
thinking and be able to solve problems in their daily lives by using students'
thinking skills. The display of colorful pocket books, lots of pictures, unique
layouts, and clear language Simple learning makes students have new learning
experiences without losing the essence/meaning of the material presented because
it contains the core material. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis,
Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data collection
techniques, using product validation questionnaires by educational technology
experts, material experts, linguists, teacher response questionnaires and student
response questionnaires. The results obtained from the development of HOTSbased
pocket book teaching materials are very valid with a score of 94.83% from
educational technology experts, very valid with a score of 94.74% from material
experts, very valid with a score of 91.67% from linguists. The teacher's response
test is 90.18%, the student response test is obtained a score of 88.64% with a very
decent category. This shows that this HOTS-based pocket book is valid and
feasible. This research is expected to help educators in developing students' highlevel
and creative thinking skills, as well as being a reference in developing
HOTS-based pocket books in the future.
