Optimalisasi Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.) Dengan Aplikasi Kompos Ampas Tahu Dan Pupuk Organik Cair Pada Tanah Inceptisol
ABSTRACT
Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is a food that is widely consumed by Indonesian people. Mung bean production in Riau Province is decreasing every year, this can be seen from the data from the Riau Province Food Security Service. The decline in mung bean production in Riau Province was partly due to land conversion so that sub-optimal land has the potential to be used as mung bean cultivation land, one of which is Inceptisol soil. Inceptisol soil with its problems through good management can be utilized in mung bean cultivation. Efforts that can be made in overcoming the problem of Inceptisol soil fertility are by applying organic fertilizer. This study aimed to determine the interaction of tofu dregs compost with liquid organic fertilizer and the effect of dosage on the growth and production of mung bean plants. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The study was conducted experimentally in the form of a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with 2 factors. The results of this study were that the combination treatment of tofu dregs and liquid organic fertilizer doses did not affect plant height, number of primary branches, flowering and harvesting ages, number of pods per plant, percentage of rice pods, dry weight of seeds per plot and weight of 100 seeds. The application of tofu dregs compost affected the number of pods per plant and the dry weight of seeds per plot. Application of liquid organic fertilizer affected plant height, number of pods per plant, seed dry weight per plot, and weight of 100 seeds.
