Bond ratings provide valuable insights into a company's potential risk of defaulting on its debt obligations. This research aims to determine the influence of leverage, productivity, operating cash flow and firm size on bond ratings. The sample used in this research was obtained using a purposive sampling method consisting of bonds issued by service companies registered on the IDX for the 2018 - 2022 period and rated by PT Pefindo and a sample of 53 companies was obtained. This research uses multinomial logistic regression analysis methods.
The results of this research prove that leverage, productivity, and company size influence bond ratings, while operating cash flow is a variable that does not influence bond ratings.. Understanding these factors is crucial for investors and financial analysts in assessing the creditworthiness and risk associated with investing in bonds issued by service companies.
