Accounting information systems are created with the aim of processing accounting data from various sources into accounting information required by a wide range of users to reduce risk in decision-making. The study aims to test and analyze the impact of optimization of information technology and work experience on the effectiveness of accounting Information Systems with the participation of management as a moderation variable. The population in this study is the OPD of the city of Bukittinggi with a total of 30 regional organizations that exist in the city. The sampling technique in this study was saturated samplings with a total of 150 respondents. The results of the research show that the optimization of information technology and work experience is in harmony with the effectiveness of SIA, but management participation does not moderate the optimisation of information technologies and working experience towards SIA efficiency.
