Peat water has characteristics such as a dark color (reddish brown), high organic content, high iron content, and high acidity. Palm Oil Fly Ash (POFA) is waste from the boiler combustion process by the factory. POFA has a silica content that has the potential to be a basic material for making geopolymers. Utilization of POFA as a low-cost adsorbent is one solution in waste management.
