Perawatan Dan Identifikasi Komponen Kritis Pada Thresher Dalam Proses Threshing Di Pt. Johan Sentosa Menggunakan Metode Fault Tree Analysis (Fta) Dan Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (Fmea)
ABSTRACT
Thresher machine is a tool that serves to separate the fruit from the bunch by slamming the fresh fruit bunch (FFB) with the help of rotation on the thresher drum. This tool is in the form of a rotating drum with a speed of ± 22-25 rpm. The thresher drum is 2 meters in diameter and 4 meters long. The process to produce crude palm oil can be said to not be able to take place optimally if the process has several failures or damage that can interfere with the running of the Threshing process. The purpose of this research is to find out the types of damage, causes, efforts and proposed actions that can be taken to improve the performance of the Thresher machine itself. The method used in this research is the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method which is used to determine the cause of the damage, then will be continued using the failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to determine the level of damage that occurs using the Risk Priority Number (RPN), The RPN value can be known by first determining the value of Severity, Occurance, and Detection. And through this RPN value, it will be known which components contained in the Thresher must get priority to repair or repair components.
