Based on Article 1 point 10 of Perkapolri 12/2011 on Police Medicine, Forensic Toxicology is the application of knowledge about poisons for the benefit of law and justice. Forensic DNA is a branch of biology that studies Biomolecular technology in the field of DNA for identification purposes. The procedure for proving Forensic Toxicology lies in the condition of the corpse, if the corpse is not found signs of violence, then the corpse is suspected of dying from poisoning. When viewed in terms of positive law, namely article 134 of the Criminal Procedure Code, it is no longer relevant to apply the article considering that if the perpetrator is the closest family, article 134 of the Criminal Procedure Code should also be amended, so that the victim's family agrees or disagrees, a forensic corpse examination is still carried out, because one of the obstacles to investigation through forensic corpse examination is the rejection of the family.
Key words: Family Permission, Criminal Evidence, Forensic Medical Examination.
