Analisa Pengaruh Variasi Air Dan Batu Kapur Untuk Menghasilkan Energi Listrik
Research of testing and utilization of heat limestone as a source of electrical energy has been conducted by using the experimental method. The experiment was done using a series of a voltaic cell, where can be done, the measurement of temperature, current, voltage, power, electrical energy, and heat. First sample was mixture of CaCo3 with the first mass is 600 gr, by additional mass 200 gr became 800 gr, 1000 gr, up to 1200 gr against H2O with fixed volume 800 ml. Second sample was the mixture of CaCo3 with fixed mass 800 gr against H2O with first volume 800 ml, by additional water volume 200 ml became 1000 ml, 1200 ml, up to 1400 ml. The reaction of mixture of CaCO3 and H2O showed maximum temperature in the amount of 75 0C which needed 2 minutes, for the constant volume and 68 0C for the constant mass on the third minute. The measurement of voltage produced the highest voltage peak was 12,86 mV with 800 gr in mass and 800 ml in first mass. The highest current peak was 8,66 mA, the power was 111, 36 mW, energy was 0,0512 Joule with limestone mass was 800 gr and the first water volume was 800 ml on the fifth minute. The peaks showed that the amount of limestone and the volume of water must be balanced in order to produce the high power and electrical energy.
Key words: limestone, electrical energy, volta cell.
