This research was conducted in Rambah Hilir Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu Regency with the aim of this study to identify the efficiency of broiler production business in Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency and find out the pattern of broiler farm business in Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. Populasai research is broiler breeders spread in Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. Sampling was determined by 15 broiler breeders in Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency, consisting of 10 people who partnered with PT. Gemilang Unggas Prima and 5 independent farmers. Data collection uses observation, questionnaire and data collection. Furthermore, this research uses descriptive analysis. The results of the study concluded that the majority of respondents with a percentage of 50% made capital as a reason to partner with PT. Gemilang Unggas Prima. Broiler breeding business partnerships and independent patterns are still quite profitable, but the average income of partnership livestock business is greater than the average income of independent pattern cattle business. The average production costs incurred by independent farmers are greater than those in farming activities in partnership with PT. Gemilang Unggas Prima. Factors that cause the production costs of independent breeders to be greater if compared to the partnering breeders because some of the prices of input of production factors in the market are higher than the price of the partnership established by PT. Gemilang Unggas Prima. The pattern of broiler farm business in Rambah Hilir Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu Regency is divided into 2 ways, namely partnership and independent. For this reason, the authors suggest that the regional government must be able to develop a potential economic sector to develop as a rising sector, one of which is the potential for broiler breeding production.
