Pengaruh Transaksi Menggunakan Kartu Atm/Debet Dan E-Money Terhadap Permintaan Uang Kartal Di Indonesia Periode Triwulan I – Triwulan Iv Tahun 2009 – 2018

This purpose of the research is to determine the effect of ATM /debet and e-money card transactions on the demand for currency in Indonesia in the long and short term.
The data used in this research is time series data from the first quarter until the fourth quarter from 2009 to 2018, obtained from Bank Indonesia (BI). The dependent variable in this study is the demand for currency and its independent variables, namely ATM /Debet cards and e-money. This study uses quantitative research methods and is analyzed by the Error Collection Model (ECM) analysis model with the help of Eviews version 10.0 software program.
The conclusion of the research are obtained that ATM /Debet card and e-money transactions had a positive and significant effect on the demand for currency in Indonesia in the long term. But in the short term, ATM /Debet card transactions have a significant and positive effect while e-money transactions did not significant effect on the demand for currency in Indonesia.
