Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran Di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu (Analisis Hukum Okun’s) Tahun 2003-2017

The success of economy can be seen from the economic growth and unemployment rate of a region. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship and the effect of economi growth on the unemployment rate in Rokan Hulu District 2003-2017. This study used secondary data was obtained from the bureau of statistics from Riau Province. The analytical method for this study is simple regression analysis. The variable of this research consists of economic growth and the unemployment rate.
The results showed relationship between economics growth variables and unemployment rate was positive and unidirectional. With a change coefiient 0.139 and the result of simple linear regression indicating the variable economic growth had a non-significant effect on unemployment rates.
