Plastic shredder machine functions as a tool to produce plastic shreds to be used
as a material of plastic recycling process in order to create a product with a sale
value. This final project aims at producing plastic shreds as a raw material of
plastic extrusion and plastic injection. The main components of the plastic crusher
machine are shaft, knife, shredding box, hopper, electric motor, gear box, and
coupling as the generator. The making of coupling and shaft had been done
through the process of turning, drill, and tab. The components were then
assembled and the machine was tested by putting plastic bottle waste into the
hopper. The waste was processed and turned into plastic shreds. The machine was
made according to the design and can be succesfully used in producing plastic
shreds.
