Analisis Ketersediaan Air Bersih Pada Pdam Tirta Siak Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru as the capital of Riau Province with a population of 954,373
people (BPS, 2020). It is projected that this number will continue to increase
every year by around 3-4% as a logical consequence of increasing consumption of
clean water needs in Pekanbaru City. The Regional Drinking Water Company
(PDAM) Tirta Siak Pekanbaru City is one of the companies engaged in the public
service provision of clean water with the status of Regional Owned Enterprises
(BUMD) which uses Siak River water as raw water which is processed into clean
water. According to Mukhlis (2020), the Regional Drinking Water Company
(PDAM) which is located in the Payung Sekaki District area, has distributed water
as much as 2,412,840 m³/year or the equivalent of 0.07 m³/s. In this study, the
authors analyzed the availability of water in the Siak River using the FJ method
Mock to find flow rates and analyze the availability of water from the Regional
Drinking Water Company (PDAM) so that clean water needs are met for the
community. From the results of the analysis, obtained the reliable discharge value
of the Siak River of 6.37 m3/s intended for PDAM Tirta Siak and it is known that
the distributed water discharge is 0.07 m3/s which when compared to the mainstay
discharge is greater than the distribution discharge. This means that the Siak River
discharge is still very sufficient to be used as a source of raw water for PDAM
Tirta Siak.
