Beberapa Hal Tentang Pasien Kanker Paru Yang Disertai Metastasis Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Periode 2022-2023

Lung cancer is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Lung cancer can spread to other organs and cause metastasis. Metastasis is the main cause of mortality in lung cancer patients. This study aims to identify the demographic characteristic, lung cancer profile, and also Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Performance Status (PS) and the therapy of lung cancer patients with metastasis at Arifin Achmad General Hospital Riau Province 2022-2023 period. Researcher use univariate model to describe the frequency of each variable with medical record as the secondary source of data. The prevalence of lung cancer with metastasis patients is 88.9%. It often happens in males 73.9% despite women 26.4%, mostly in 40-64 years old age group 78%. The data shows that farmer (14.4%) and housewife (12.0%) are the most job in the patients. The most common histopathological findings are adenocarcinoma (52.2%), stage IV A (66.3%), and the most frequent location is pleura (75.1%). VAS score is mostly in the range of 4-6 (55.0%), and PS score 2 (51.0%). Most therapy for the patients is chemotherapy (63.9%).
