Gambaran Hasil Pengobatan Tuberkulosis Paru Sensitif Obat Di Puskesmas Rejosari Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2022-2023
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. Most of the bacteria are commonly found infecting the lung parenchyma, leading to pulmonary TB. To date, TB remains the leading cause of death from infectious diseases worldwide. Indonesia ranks second in the world for the highest number of TB cases, yet the results of TB treatment have not reached the national target. This study is a retrospective descriptive research conducted at Puskesmas Rejosari in Pekanbaru City, aimed at understanding the characteristics of patients, the presence of Medication Adherence Supervisors (PMO), and the treatment outcomes for drug-sensitive pulmonary TB patients at Puskesmas Rejosari from 2022 to 2023. The study sample consisted of 194 medical records of patients who met the criteria. The results of the study showed that, from the 194 samples, the majority of drug-sensitive pulmonary TB patients were male, with 130 patients (67%). The most common age group was 36-45 years, with 48 patients (24.7%). Most patients had a high school education, totaling 100 patients (51.55%). The most common occupation was selfemployed, with 53 patients (27.3%). Most patients did not have comorbidities, with 175 patients (90.2%). Additionally, 191 patients (98.5%) adhered to PMO supervision. The final treatment outcomes, according to the PNPK 2021 standards, showed a success rate of 97.4%, with 130 patients (67%) cured and 59 patients (30.4%) completing their treatment. Among those cured, 127 patients (97.7%) had PMO supervision.
