Pengaruh Pola Asuh Ibu Terhadap Karakter Sopan Santun Siswa SDN 026 Anak Talang, Kecamatan Batang Cenaku, Indragiri Hulu

The objectives of this study are to: 1) Find out how high the character of good manners in SDN 026 Anak Talang, 2) Find out how high the maternal parenting style is related to the good manners of SDN 026 Anak Talang students, 3) To find out how high the influence of maternal parenting style related to the good manners character of SDN 026 Anak Talang students. Ex post facto, this research is based on quantitative research methods. The population of this study consisted of 208 students from SDN 026 Anak Talang, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The simple random sampling technique is a method taken from the population in a way that allows each member of the population to have an equal chance of being selected using the Slovin model, which results in a sample taken from at least 68 students. Based on the demographic analysis of the respondents, the maternal parenting variable had a mean of
3.58 with a high interpretation. With high interpretation, The mean value for the politeness character variable was 3.22. This shows that the mother's parenting style is quite good. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, maternal parenting style was 3.58 and polite character was 3.31. Thus, the polite character of students is high. The results of the study also showed that there was an increase in maternal parenting by 15.9% compared to politeness characteristics.
