pengaruh metode role playing pada pembelajaran matematika terhadap kemampuan literasi finansial siswa kelas v sdn 161 pekanbaru
This study aims to analyze the effect of the role playing method in mathematics learning on improving financial literacy of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. The research method used is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was class V A students with a total sample of 30 students. The data collection technique used in this study was using a test in the form of objective questions through the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) techniques. The results of this study show that students' financial literacy skills have increased. The average pretest score obtained was 54.33 then given treatment with the role playing method, after being given the next treatment posttest, the average posttest score increased to 82.57 and the results of the increase or Ngain were obtained by 0.61 with moderate criteria. Based on the results and data analysis, it can be concluded that the role playing method has an effect on the financial literacy skills of fifth grade students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the t count that has been done, the significance of 7.75 is greater than t table 1.69, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This study provides implications that the role playing method can be implemented as an innovative learning strategy to improve students' financial literacy, especially at the elementary school level. Researchers recommend that teachers use this method more often and schools provide training related to its optimal implementation.
