Analisis Penggunaan Girder Tipe Pci Dan Tipe Pcu Pada Jembatan
ABSTRACT
PCI and PCU type girders have similarities in the economic span range, which is
25–40 meters, as stated in the Practical Guidelines for Bridge Technical Planning
(2021). This study aims to compare the use of PCI and PCU girders on the Siak
Bridge sta. 195+500 Trans Sumatra Toll Road Rengat-Pekanbaru section Lingkar
Pekanbaru. The comparison is made based on the parameters of prestressing force
loss, safety factor, and effectiveness of material use on the girder. The bridge
analyzed has a span length of 40.6 meters and a width of 12.7 meters, and is
compared through three structural models: Model 1 uses PCI girders with a girder
spacing of 2.4 meters; Model 2 uses PCU girders with a girder spacing of 2.4
meters; and Model 3 uses PCU girders with a girder spacing of 3.1 meters.
Structural loading refers to SNI 1725:2016 and SNI 2833:2016, with analysis
carried out using MIDAS Civil and Microsoft Excel. The results of the analysis
show that the total prestressing force loss of each model is: Model 1 is 28.41%,
Model 2 is 27.13%, and Model 3 is 29.19%. The safety factors based on bending
moments for Model 1, Model 2, and Model 3 are 1.34, 1.52, and 1.32, respectively.
The safety factors based on shear force are 2.06, 2.36, and 1.93, respectively. The
safety factors based on effective stress are 9.31, 11.62, and 10.80, respectively.
Based on these results, it can be concluded that Model 2 is the most superior
structure in terms of safety, while Model 1 is the most efficient in terms of material
use.
