Pengaruh Pupuk Batu Bara Dan Pupuk Kalium Terhadap Waktu Muncul Bunga Dan Produksi Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to see the interaction between coal fertilizer and potassium fertilizer and get the best combination of coal fertilizer and potassium fertilizer for the time of flower emergence and production of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). This research was carried out in an oil palm plantation in Agrotourism Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. This research was carried out for six months starting from March 2024 to September 2024. This study was conducted experimentally using a factorial complete random design (RAL) with 2 factors. Factor I is the dose of coal fertilizer (B), which consists of 3 levels, namely B0 = 0 Kg of coal fertilizer dose per plant (6 months), B1 = 1 Kg of coal fertilizer dose per plant (6 months), B2 = 2 Kg of coal fertilizer dose per plant (6 months). Factor II is the dose of potassium fertilizer (K), which consists of 3 levels, namely K1 = Potassium fertilizer dose of 3 kg per plant (6 months), K2 = Potassium fertilizer dose of 4 kg per plant (6 months) and K3 = Potassium fertilizer dose of 5 kg per plant (6 months). The observed parameters were the time of emergence of the sheath, the time of flower emergence, the time of receptive flowering, the time of male flower anthesis, sex ratio, the length of fruit ripeness, the number of fresh fruit bunches harvested per plant, and the weight of fresh fruit bunches per plant. The data obtained was statistically analyzed using multiple fingerprints. The results of the fingerprint that had a real effect were followed by a follow-up test of the duncan double distance at the level of 5% using the SPSS application version 26. There is an interaction between coal fertilizer and potassium fertilizer on sex ratio parameters. The application of potassium fertilizer showed better oil palm production which affected the ripeness of the fruit and the weight of fresh fruit bunches per plant. The application of potassium fertilizer with a dose of 5 kg is the best treatment that can accelerate the ripening of fruit and oil palm plant production.
