PENGARUH SELF EFFICACY DAN PERSEPSI PROFESI GURU TERHADAP MINAT MENJADI GURU EKONOMI PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS RIAU TAHUN 2024
ABSTRAK
This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and perception of the
teaching profession on the interest in becoming an economics teacher. The
population in this study was 78 Economics Education students from the 2021-
2023 intake, the sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data
collection techniques were carried out by means of documentation and
questionnaires to obtain data on self-efficacy and perception of the teaching
profession. The collected data were then tabulated and analyzed using descriptive
analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 24.
The results showed that self-efficacy and perception of the teaching profession,
both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant effect on the
interest in becoming an economics teacher with a multiple linear regression
equation Y = 2.344 + 0.641 + 0.322 + e. With a contribution to the interest in
becoming a teacher of 79.5% and 20.5% influenced by other variables not studied.
