THE EFFECT OF QUIZZIZ TO INCREASE WRITING SKILLS OF TENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMAN 12 PEKANBARU

Abstract : This research aims to determine the effect of using Quizziz in improving the descriptive text writing skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is pre-experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used in this study was class X.4 as an experimental class that had been tested with a paired t-test. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in students' descriptive text writing results after being treated using the Quizziz Application as an interactive and innovative learning media.After collecting data using pre-test and post-test, the average value of the experimental class of one group in the pre-test was 61.24 and the post-test was 78.42. It can be seen that there was an increase in the average value from the pre-test to the post- test of 17.18. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that learning to write using Quizziz media has an impact on improving students' writing skills.
